Completely agree. Not sure why people are so against this one. Seeing someone going for the goal and then sliding in front of them is not a fvcking basketball move. It's taking advantage of a rule. Get rid of the rule, get rid of the majority of ridiculous charges.

Someone said it best where it needs to be like the old facemask penalty, 15 yards if incidental and spot if the dude just bends the receiver over. Automatic spot foul for 50-50 judgement calls from the ref is horseshite.

Duh. Why are so many against this? Like some mentioned, after a certain number you could make it like a technical where you got 2 shots and the ball. Also, there would still be legit techs if someone was being a good and I'd still have players be ejectable if they get 2 techs. Fouling a player out is moronic.

Ok ok, still though, I'm 6' flat with average length arms and normal hands. A guy like Lebron has at least a foot of reach on me, and it's probably closer to 18 inches than a foot, not to mention his hands are probably close to twice the size of mine. So it's like me dunking on ~8 1/2 foot goal using one of those souvenir balls that are like 18" circumference
