The pro told us the greens were about a 12 that day. Easily the fastest I've ever putted.

I'd believe it if they were running 12 today...you paid for it if you misread a putt...

Nothing like Driver-3i on a 425 par 4 because your drive that was crushed was right into a hill

Eh, it was only those two holes that the carry was tough. 18 I should have carried, but I tried to cheat the corner...#11 was just a long carry. Hit my second drive 285 and it carried the marsh by 4 yards...

Thats not a penalty. On the tee box its only counts if you try to hit the ball. Even if you hit the ball on your practice swing - it does not count.

I know what you're saying. On one of the uphill holes on the back, I think it was 11 but not sure, my buddy had a downhill chip to a front pin with a false front. He ran the chip by the hole about 2 feet and it just about stopped. Then it trickled and trickled until he was 60 feet down the hill in front the green. He chipped up, put it about 7-8 feet past the hill, then putted it off the front again to the same place his chip had run off the first time.

Yep. I nearly had one of those.

The 505 yard par 5 that plays up a 1,000 foot mountain was fun. And by fun I mean terrible.

I guess this is a good place to remind everyone that the LGA mid-am deadline is Tuesday at 5:00. I went through the entries earlier and it looked like there were only around 105 or so players signed up right now. I guess that means that they'll cancel qualifiers if they don't get 144 entries?

Who here is signed up and which qualifier are you playing in?

I'm signed up for Lakewood on 7/9.

I played fri sat and today.
Shot mid 7os all 3 days, lost half my fri and sat winnings in a drum game today which was 70 bucks.
1 birdie 3 bogies rest pars loses you money in that game.

I'll sign up tomorrow...will qualify at Copper Mill if we have to do so. Would be nice not to have to qualify, though.

One thing I did discover this weekend is that my new RBZ Stage 2 3 wood (13d) is the shiz-nit. I was 260 off the ground and 265-270 off the tee. It's a pretty ridiculous club and is maybe only 15-20 yds shorter than my driver.

I haven't hit the 3 wood, but I hit the RBZ stage 2 driver at a demo day. I was really impressed. I liked it better than R1 by a lot.
