It worked brilliantly in the regionals.
Hindsight is always 20/20 but that's how I woulda done things.
I'm now extremely nervous for Tuesday.

We just watched a team bunt all fricking night and kill us with it. Lead off man on, no out with the DP machine coming to the plate when you are down by 1

I said the same thing. Send the runner on the 2-0 count. It's a hitters pitch and Katz would be on 2nd with 1 out and would have scored on moores single but oh well

With a new pitcher, frick anything that might allow for a DP. It's just not smart.

I would have had him flash bunt until the guy threw a strike. I certainly would t have had mr dp swinging 2-0

Yep UCLA won bunting the ball but I guess Mainieri wanted to tie or win the game by hitting.

We did hit and run but the 3b was playing on the grass and rhymes hit it dead at him.
