Sucks for your parents, but at least the at fault party will have adequate coverage to cover expenses.
I was recently rear ended and didnt start hurting til 3 days later, and it has worsened for three weeks. Turns out I have s compression fracture in my upper back. Hopefully my bills will stay below $15k.
I'd definitely lawyer up. Find out the fees because several of the ones they advertise a lot will rape you with fees.
