Strongly disagree with 57%
Thoroughly enjoyed it
Was it perfect? No
But it was a highly entertaining reimagining of the character
Several scenes will bring you to tears if you have a long history of following Superman

Really disagree with most of the critics, but it's mostly because I disagree with what they are criticizing about the movie.
In short, they seem to be hung up, in one way or another, in it not being like the Reeve/Donner movies from 1978/1980. It's not joyful enough, not enough romance, no theme song, too serious, etc.
If you liked the trailer, and you go in expecting a more serious take on the story that take a different approach and describing his childhood...I think you're in for a treat. If you somehow long for the 1978 flick, save your money and go watch it on HBO this month.
I really enjoyed this movie...

Are we going to get a new thread with a title reflecting all the percentage changes of the RT score??
And yes I can see, from a technical perspective, why the movie is trending lower. The editing was TERRIBLE.

A 57 is about right. The movie had more flaws than perfections and the story itself was slightly above average at best. I just can't understand what people seen in this film, other than the superhero aspect of it.

-HC was GREAT as Superman
-we finally see hardcore Superman action on screen
The story was forced and disjointed though and that almost killed the movie.

SPOILERS:
It was pretty fricking awesome after the credits when it showed him flying way above Gotham City, then they panned to his face and he smirked and was gone.

I enjoyed it. One of the better movies I've seen in 3D.

Goddamn people
The story feels forced because this is the first of a trilogy
No shite it's not going to be the greatest movie ever made just as TDK and TDKR were better than BB
