Since all of your games are saved to the console and through the cloud I guess not being able to be online means you have zero access to your games.
You can still watch Blu-rays and DVD's though

When the lights were out for a week after the hurricane, one of the things that kept me occupied was playing games on the PS3 while hooked to the generator.
That just seems kinda stupid that I wouldn't be able to do that with an xbone.

Tether it to your phone for the check in for the once every 4 years a hurricane knocks your cable/power out.

I would speculate that PS4 is leading preorders. The systems are flip flopping 1st and 2nd place on amazon as more stock becomes available. Amazon's bestseller list is not based on cumulative purchases.
Last night xbone was #1 and I just checked for the purposes of this thread and ps4 is #1.
