Probably doesn't GIAF

$5,000 fine /$17,540,000 this year = .0285% of this year's salary

Thats $28.50 if you're making $100,000 this year.

The NBA is doing the right thing by fining floppers...but why the frick are these fines so pathetically low?

Bosh did what he had to do to get the call.

Bosh knows how to win championships.

Each Player is warned during the game.

The next time it is a technical and they can be ejected after two technicals.

Have the league come out during the offseason and be clear about policy.

Excessive flopping technicals can lead to a suspension without pay.

The issue should clear up quickly with proper enforcement.

CP3 will probably miss some games.

I think flopping should incur major fines and then suspensions unless the flop is just awesome.

If a player flops and does something crazy like launches himself into the Gatorade table or something, I believe that he should NOT be fined plus get the call.

I hate Bosh and flopping more than anyone. However, it looks like he trips over Wade's shoe on this one. Am i seeing things? FWIW, Bosh is still a bitch. He should have suspended for that Boozer "elbow."

it's one thing to sell an actual foul that wouldn't be called otherwise

it's another to create a foul out of thin air, that's a bitch move

how much were the three officials fined for missing that flop? wasnt even a good flop and yet it fooled THREE different referees, i dont even...

as long as flops are penalized with poverty wages the smart players will continue to do so.

hell, the teach youth a young age to *sell* the charge; its part of the game.
