According to WDSU (allegedly...I'm repeating what others are saying).

Presumably only for interview purposes.

I just don't like idea of a guard who shoots so poorly.

serious question...why do white people seem to like the nickname more than black people? maybe it's just the small sample size, but many players in the NBA don't seem to like it, nor do these college kids. but the majority of the white people on here do like it.

If a player doesn't wanna play for a team just because of the name...Thats just plain Dumb. to them.

Serious answer...because most of the people on here are fans of the team and are semi-forced to embrace the name. Also, being fans on here, they are generally better educated as to the regional, cultural, and historical meaning of the name. So to them, it represents the Pelican State, the Gulf Coast, the state flag, and various other local uses of the bird.

Other NBA players and college kids just think of that bird on Finding Nemo that crashed into the dentist's office window. It's not fearsome and scary like pace cars, car parts, metal spikes on cowboy boots, warm weather, nets, a genre of music, pieces of gold, sailboats, Harry Potter, or people that enjoy lakes in LA, among other "great" names in the league.

If Trey Burke is 6ft then I'm 6'8.

I'm exaggerating but I'll say 5'9-5'10 ish

Last I checked I was 6'5 and MCW is listed as 6'6 and he's to the top of the bridge of my nose.

He's a good 6'4

Asked Dell is he looking for a guy that would come in and make an instant impact or a guy that has a high ceiling but may not be ready for major minuets. He replied "What we try to do is find the best fit.we're looking for a guy that can help and that help may be this year could be 2 years from now, could be 3 years, but we're not going to limit it to we need immediate help right now."

I'll take the official combine measurements over this guy's eyeball test. There's 0% chance he's 5'9"-10" WITH shoes.

Height w/shoes = 6' 1.25"
