It really is false I was out there yesterday and it was a head scratcher for many. Great conditions ,fewer fish than expected for everybody guides included. That area has been off all year.

The nearshore rigs off the Terrebonne Parish coast are smoking-hot right now, delivering plenty of speckled trout limits for charter captains and weekend anglers leaving out of Cocodrie, Dulac and Dularge.

Nothing different than last weekend. There was like 10,000 boats out.

That story was a report from June 1. Good looking trout in the pic.

Wouldn't worry too much if your boat has length. I might have been bumped off the big boat, so I'm concerned about running in the little one.

I think some of these reports are based solely on the fact that advertisers need good reporting to make money. ergo the press accommodates and ensures that the advertisers keep advertising.

Your statement has nothing to do with the story in the OP. It was a good trip and it was reported accurately, albeit 10 days after it happened.

I went out there yesterday and caught 31 trout in what appeared to be great conditions. I've caught 31 trout in shite conditions. Yesterday, I fished the exact places that were mentioned in the story and caught nothing at them. Fish move. better have knowledge and options.

Yea i fished these spots in the article on Wednesday and didn't even have a bite. Only had my flats boat so didnt feel like running further, but that is what it will take from here out for the most part.

Damn must have been bad out there. What kind of cat were you in? I am looking at a 26' glacier bay right now.
