Why do henchmen suck so bad?

They can never shoot. Can never fight. Can't do a fricking thing right without fricking up. They are completely incapable of executing the smallest tasks.

Nah, you don't have to be a mastermind. But shite that doesn't mean you have to take turns attacking your target. Or completely frick up everything you do. IRL, if a henchman fricked up like a lot of these dudes do, they'd be dead.

Most henchmen are just doomed to suck. They are the losers that don't fit into our society, basically just rejects that aren't smart or skilled enough to be the boss bad guy. And it appears that most of these dudes are just kind of alone in the world. They don't have family or friends that care about them. Like when they die or are killed in a movie, they are so irrelevant. They don't have funerals or even an obituary. And they usually die amongst several of their comrades at the same time...... So no one really has time to pay respects to them individually
