I don't understand not starting Zusi, but maybe I'm overly swayed by his last several performances. As much as gonzalex may seem to have greater upside than besler, besler was actually said to be the fastest straight line speed guy in camp. I think the gonzalez cameron pairing does not have enough speed to work in the world cup.

I think this would be a solid formation. Maybe switch Zusi and Cakes to allow Fabian to get up more with Donovan floating into the middle.

Subs
GK- Guzan, Rimando
DEF- Chandler, Cameron, Beasley
MID- Holden, Gatt, Shea, Diskerud
FWD- Boyd, McIenerney, GAM

If Holden makes it back to form, which i think he does, he will be on the 23 man squad. If he doesn't I think Danny Williams replaces him. Diskerud is more of an attacker and offers some creativity, I think he plays a similar role to Feilharber. Gatt is probably the fastest player in the pool and offers depth in many positions because of his versatility. Shea can be used as a super sub, and should get more time with Stoke next year. He has great ball control, and is the Mexecutioner. Boyd is a raw but extremely talented player who dominated BVB reserves and has a big frame who can play the holding forward role. Jack Mac will probably prove himself in the Gold Cup, and earn a spot. GAM provides depth on the wings and up top, he is good on crosses and can come up in the clutch.

People who will be close to making the cut

Danny Williams
Brad Davis
Herculez Gomez
Bocanegra
Joe Corona*(Will make the 23 if a wing gets hurt)
Lichaj
Edu
Feilharber
Castillo
Kjlestian
Hamid/Johnson
