Has anyone done a Franchise League in fantasy football?

Some people in my league are pushing that we do a franchise league instead of keeper league

I've been in a 32 team franchise/dynasty/RealGM league with IDPs for about 6 years now. We have a salary cap, roster minimums and maximums, restricted free agency, unrestricted free agency, and a rookie draft.
TBH, it's a lot of work and depending on the size, your league might need more than one commissioner. But it does give you something to do all year depending on how spread out or in-depth the league is structured.

Started a dynasty league last year. 10 man with kinda deep rosters . Half ppr qb 3wr 3rb te and wr/te kicker and def. love it so far
