Interesting...but aside from the times they are live on Thursdays at evictions, they have no idea what will or won't be shown on TV. How would she know when to change her voice?

diary room vs routine life

also a lot of the stuff we see on the CBS show is immediately following DR sessions.

Much of this has been known for many years and yet I continued to watch. This year took the cake...I'm done. I dont even care to watch who wins. I tuned in last week to watch Amanda GTFO and I'm done. I don't even know that an alleged all-stars cast will lure me back next year.

I'll watch CBS' much better show The Amazing Race until it too jumps the shark and casts all stupid people or it just gets lame.

I know Gina Marie was in a background in the intros to the Amazing Race. It was two gay dudes and she's the chick dancing between them. McCrae works for some studio production in Minnesota. Says on his FB page. Nick was in some other reality tv crap before. Most of them have modeling agencies. Makes senses

Well that's disappointing to hear. So are they any actual, legit, just normal real life random people that ever get cast?

Probably a few, it's usually the superfans that are chosen. I went to auditions & they look for a specific look. Obviously they were looking for a black female when they came to Nola.

Spencer, Judd, Helen, McRae and Andy were the only real BB fans as far as I know this season.

GM, Aaryn, Candice, Howard and Nick definitely had agents helping them get the role

Elissa is Rache's sister

Amanda is friends with Boogie and Alison Grodner and has also had some very minor acting roles.

Kaitlyn was discovered by a talent scout. Possibly the same happened with David.

Not sure about Jeremy

david the lifeguard gave an interview after he was voted out where he said he had a hard time playing the "dumb surfer eye candy role" because he kept forgetting to "act" and he was routinely beating the shite out of everyone in chess

4) a bunch of the "cast" are connected in different ways to reality TV, not just Amanda

I have a friend here in Mississippi who is friends with Howard, grew up with him and still talks and he has never had anything to do with TV. He has worked as a trainer and youth counselor after finishing college.

To my knowledge, based on a mutual friend, Howard is exactly the guy he was on TV. The only thing BB probably tried to play up was the religion angle.

Ok I'm trying to wrap my head around this. If production went to someone and told them to "play up" something (david being stupid, howard being super religious, whatever) and the person was just like "eehhh, I don't think so. I'm just going to act like my normal self", would they get in trouble? If they didn't obey orders what could happen?

The thing that irritates me about next season being an "All Stars" season is this the first season in a long time that didn't have 1 or more former house guests. Why do they keep forcing these trolls down our throats? I want to see new people, not a bunch of re-treads making a living as reality stars.

I've only been watching a few years, so this is the first season I've watched that was completely new cast members. I thought the same thing, I wanted a 100% new cast, but this year was so pitiful and uninteresting I think I've changed my mind. An all stars will be a nice change of pace.

Schedule this week:

-Today (Tuesday) is a taped eviction with either Judd or GM going to jury.

-Wednesday's episode will air the eviction and sometime between tonight and Thursday will be another HOH and POV competition.

-Thursday will be a live POV ceremony followed by live eviction. That will leave the final 3. First part of the final HOH will also be Thursday night.

Lots going on this week!

Honestly don't care who wins at this point. Just glad it wasn't Elissa or Amanda.

ETA: I don't want McRae to win either. Amanda would win by association.
