I enjoyed it. Awesome score. It was a bit of a letdown though, because I was really, really looking forward to it.

no. that belongs to those nerd flicks Star Wars. BTW I didn't like The Fountain that much, I just like the soundtrack.

Not sure how an movie unknown by most, disliked by many can be considered overhyped because of the few who love it.

I agree. I didn't know this movie even existed, but my wife learned of this, and she hired 10 Korean prostitutes to blow me until I agreed to watch the film. "You have to see this!" they yelled. By the 5th one I was convinced.

It's nice to look at, but it's a student film with a budget. It's filled to the brim with cheesy, overacted melodrama and tries to touch on themes that have been done much better in other films. It's a mess that doesn't know what it's trying to say or why.

I really enjoyed it in spite of Weisz and jackman. I don't dislike either, but would have enjoyed seeing different actors in those roles. Give me an aronofsky directed and mansell scored film any day of the week. If nothing else pop a few pills, drink a couple beers, crank the volume and enjoy the visuals.
