We look shitty. Has there been a bright spot this half? I'm looking and can't see it.

The bright spot is that it isn't 3-0.

Ramires is much better in the pivot than on the wing, and Mikel doesn't belong on the field against top class sides.

Frank has no place on the field as a pivot either. It should be Ramires and Mikel or Essien. Frank was slow to tackles all day. frick a Mike Dean.

Yep. It seems that Frank won't be benched too often in the near future though.

Also, the Torres call was shitty and Vertonghen should've probably gotten a yellow for diving when Fernando grabbed his face on the first yellow. Torres was really good today though, imo. Hazard became a threat and took a couple shots too, and Mata is Mata.

I agree with this. He and Mikel both got bossed around the whole first half.

Only 45 but was more impactful than anyone who did play 90.

So who are Chelsea's first choice starting CBs? it seems really odd that Luiz is so highly valued etc and isn't starting even.. I know he was injured earlier in the season but has he been displaced by the old man and Cahill?

Lucas Piazon scored the game winner in Vitesse's derby match vs NEC last week and was honored with this banner this week

I'm here.

Nice to see Eden scoring some goals, 4 in his last 3 games. He still may not be playing to the level of last year but these goals surely are helping his confidence.

Speaking of confidence, El Niño played great today as well

I hope we see Mazacar against City, Schürrle hasn't been great the last couple games and I think we will bring Willian off the bench. I hate not seeing De Bruyne play, though. But if he's not in form, then he doesn't deserve to play. Hopefully he gets his chance again soon.

Speaking of chance, I hope Ruben Loftus-Cheek can get some first team action this year. Here is a good article about him. LINK /

There really hasn't been a whole lot to talk about the past few weeks. I didn't see anything today other than the highlights but it is a very nice win. Hopefully we roll up on City this weekend.

Big game this weekend, what kind of lineup do you expect to see from Jose? Will he go more attacking at home or defensive to counter City's attacking options? I hope we go hard for the 3.
