Stolen from the SEC rant
Steve Spurrier to Nick Saban: Schedule Tennessee as an OOC Game

Steve Spurrier to Nick Saban: Schedule Tennessee as an OOC Game
quote:
Since 2000, LSU has played SEC East Division heavyweights Florida and Georgia 17 times. Alabama has played them eight times – the lowest of any West Division team.
quote:
Moreover, in the last two “bridge” schedules in 201-2013 – schedules made without specific opposite division rotating concepts – have given the Tide rotating games against East Division second-tier Missouri and Kentucky.
quote:
“You tell me why that happened,” Spurrier. “I still haven’t gotten an answer.”

The more it's talked about the better. It's complete BS.

Yep. And the fact that it is other SEC head coaches as opposed to fans on message boards will give it much more traction.

They do this is other SEC sports now to meet rivalry and scheduling preferences...there is nothing stopping them from doing this.

I don't understand why more of the SEC teams are not saying something about this because every year Bama blows away the cupcakes it just give them more and more strength. The SEC used to be stronger top to bottom now it's top heavy.

Because it doesn't hurt the MIssissippi schools and Vanderbilt/Kentucky. They don't have to play the big boys from the other division as much. I think Spurrier may be finally saying something because now South Carolina will be getting A&M.

Spurrier has gotten the worse end of the stick more than us. GA got in over them the last two years Bc of scheduling despite losing to USC both times

He speaks the truth. Same shite he dealt with in 1992 when they stuck the championship game at Legion Field.

if saban is such a badass with him saying we should play 9 or 10 SEC games, why won't he ask to have Florida and Georgia as perms? the guy is such a puss.
