I am about as giddy as a schoolgirl about this movie; however, does it bother anyone else that there's been ZERO reviews to this point? Is there a "hard" embargo I am not aware of?

I want to say I read this somewhere. They are keeping the print on lockdown until the last possible second.

Maybe it sucks and they don't want the critic reviews to dissuade people from seeing the movie.

What good does that do (if it's a good movie)? Don't you want there to be a buzz about how awesome your movie is?

it's going to make bank regardless.

To them, preventing pirating >>> having great reviews

Probably. I'm not really interested in it. Good reviews might change that.

Maybe. But they're only preventing pirating for 2 or 3 weeks.

I wouldn't put too much stock into this. It will be great.

The trailers have all been great, but they've been predominantly highlighting the action sequences.

The most recent TV spots have been kind of cringe-worthy, especially the one with the policewoman saying something like "he's kind of hot" as Superman flys by. That's Batman & Robin levels of bad dialogue.

I'm sure critics have already seen it. They're likely embargoed by contract until next week.

The bulk of the money is made in the 2 to 3 weeks before the movie is released? This movie will be out for torrent as soon as it hits the theaters.

If you are interested in this movie I think it's safe to assume you saw The Dark Knight trilogy. All 3 movies were littered w/ goofy one liners and cheesy dialogue. It didn't make the movies any less great imo.

I read a review and I was super pissed because it contained a spoiler with no warning.

All comics are littered with goofy dialogue. That's what makes them great. I don't know what people want in life anymore.

As long as the goofy cheesy dialogue and plot isn't on the Avengers level I'll be happy.

There have been a few internet media types that have seen it that have made comments that, if you read between the lines, they liked it a lot. Drew from Hitfix is one.

There's a tweet from Devin Faraci that seems to suggest he didn't like it, but he hates everything. He thought The Dark Knight was terrible at the time.
