Plan to hit the short/long rocks and figure it out from there. Anyone have a report?

Lot's of fish down there. Don't know what the weather is doing but the FIL caught limits in Bay Eloi Monday and last Thursday. He doesn't fish past 9:30-10:00 a.m.

I'm heading down Saturday morning in the yak. Going to head south of hopedale lagoon. No reports that I've heard of so I'm interested as well.

I've heard that and the rigs to the north. Diversions are killing all the trout to the south.

Talking about the smaller gas wells? I thought most of the rigs were to the south of the rocks. I know if a couple east of the rocks. Not sure how far we will be able to run south.

I guess so. They've been going during the week, but he says the rocks have been giving up a lot of fish. He's had some good topwater action also on a few trips. He's fishing in the Bahamas, I'll see if he'll answer his phone.

we caugt our limit on the long rocks a couple of weeks ago. Went out to central early, but it was slow until we got back into the rocks. Tide was non existent FWIW.

Fished skrimps most of the day, but when we got on them at the rocks they were biting anything.

How's the trout fishing in the lagoon? Thinking about heading down this weekend. Never fished the area, but would like to learn it in my Yak. Are the trout accessible by paddle?

Does anyone fish the train trestle by lake St. Catherine? Have been wanting to go try it. I don't know that area to well but trying to learn it.
