247 put together a pretty good salaries cap guide (salary cap for idiots)

Breaks everything down pretty well and explains everything. Seems to be a pretty good resource to those that don't follow salaries and salary caps and all that

Also, MM had some proposed trades in another article on there today. Somehow he worked out a 3 team trade of us giving up Gordon and #6, getting Granger and #4, Indy getting Gordon, and Charlotte getting #4 and Psycho T

Psycho T is an RFA. He can't be offered a new contract until after the draft.

There are fewer math nerds here than you'd think. I only got 1 reply when I posted it this morning. It's a well done salary page though, even has a calendar of deadline on picking up options on specific players.

I was in a conference all day or I would have chimed in.

It's cool.
I'm not as uptight as it may seem.
I'm working on something else tonight, but I think a Free Agency view with cap holds etc. is next.

I'm not sure how advanced the BSS' coding skills are but it would be pretty cool if all the players had a check box next to them and you could see how the cap would change by unchecking a player.

Now you messing with me?
I see.
I see.

Not messing, genuine ignorance. There are so many WYSIWYG web design tools out there today you can have a pretty advanced site without doing any programming. I wasn't sure how much any of you dabbled in web programming.

Just kidding.
It's a matter of getting what out when. Easy thing up first to if people are interested or if it's just a convenient bookmark for me.
If it is good, invest some time. Database, dynamic, etc.
That'll be a season off, but noted. Better to get the info out.
Free Agency guide next. Cap hols, roster charges, etc.
