Id love for someone to justify how 16 teams are better than LSU

I like when Lsu has lowered expectations we as a fanbase know we have the talent. Our schedule allows us to play our way to the top let it be decided on the field and not in these magazines. I got a good feeling about this year. We finally got an offense and a [u]coordinator[u] & well we know what chief will do with the defense

LSU has a football team in March-June?

Phil Steele is the worst CFB magazine out there. He is horrible. And, I say that irrespective of where he places LSU. His acronymns and reminders of the fact that the team had a back up QB that transferred from Junior College in 2006 therefore this year the team will go 9-3 are nonsensical. It is like he lost his mind in a stats induced fit or seizure and now he just spews stuff. Why anyone buys his magazine is beyond me at this point.

And, I would feel that way if LSU was ranked #1. The way he would have us at #1 wouldn't make any sense either, even if we deserved to be there.

Ahh, the lets bash the magazine thread if they don't have LSU in the top 5.

I used to remember lots of people on here liking Phil, but that was when he was blowing us.

we ought to grade these prognosticating prophets of doom at the end of the year. Someone with the time should put all the wags (wild arse guesses)down and at the end of the year and we'll grade them. We can then tell whom to listen to preseason. Anyone can take a guess without doing the homework. Here's mine. We should have beaten Bama last year, we have a better offense this year. LSU 11-1.

The one good thing is that we got his pages on LSU early ( LINK). I think Phil has taken one too many sips of the Bama Kool Aid. I fully expect LSU to compete for the MNC this year, hard schedule be damned.
