I thought Laird was too hurt to play this weekend? Obviously not.

I guess this means Foster to the bench after looking really bad last night.

Haha. He looked like shite too. I'd imagine he will be on a short leash but they don't really have much of a choice. He only threw about 20 pitches and got tagged by Sam-Houston.

He only threw 29 pitches in 1.2 innings. I'm guessing he goes about the same and they'll just throw everyone they can after that

think he threw closer to 40 pitches. regardless he got shelled earlier today and already warmed his arm up and let it cool down. that's just asking for trouble

edit: he threw 39 pitches according to kendall rogers

29 sounds about right to me because they took him out at the beginning of the 3rd I believe.
