So my old school Hoyt raiser could be set up to bowfish? I have though about selling the now, but it's not worth anything and its left handed so the number of buyers are limited. What would it cost to rig it out to fish?

You don't need a fishing reel honestly. You're not going to reel the fish in. You'll just grab the line and pull the fish in. My buddy uses an old bow and has a piece of PVC attached to the front a d just winds it back on with his hand. Unless you just want to spend the money but you'll just be using it to bring your line back in. Not sure how a conventional reel and line would even work because you'll definitely be pulling with your hand at some point. I'd recommend just doing the PVC method and get the same kinda heavy string they use for the bowfishing setups.
