*Keep in mind this was made before the LSU/TAMU '12 game. Nevertheless, it was interesting to watch.

Very interesting video, it's pretty amazing that in 51 games we've only played at Kyle Field 13 times.. Hopefully the rivalry that it used to be can be rekindled, from their side it seems it is still a rivalry & with the game possibly being moved to the last week of the year it should be a highly anticipated game going forward

back when ROTC was compulsory, there was a major rivalry between the schools in that area as well....
until 1973, A&M would come to Baton Rouge every year...just made financial sense as Tiger Stadium was one of the largest stadiums in the country back then....

I went to a game in Kyle field when I was at LSU in the late 80's. Funniest thing happened when some fan waiving a big LSU flag ran onto their sacred field while of the cadets were guarding it. He kept running around and they couldn't catch him because they were all wearing those boots. Every time he dodged a cadet the LSU fans went nuts.
Was anyone else there for that?

He said College Station is extremely hostile. It's about as hostile as a pillow convention.

Go to at least 1 away game. You'll see some weird shite I assure you.

Was that the 1986 game there? I was at one when that happened but can't recall the year.

Wow... Watching that you would swear that A&M dominated LSU year in and year out. I think I heard something about us having a historical advantage, but it was lost amongst the selective highlights and comments about never playing at Kyle Field.

Yeah it must have been around 86. I was at LSU 83-88.
I also remember a lot of fights in the stands.

Then it had to be 86' I remember the fights as well. I was 16 and my parents granted me the car to head down to that game with 3 other buddies and 1 girl. Her parents must of really needed a weekend off!
