I never said we could compete week in and week out as you say. This is for the sake of argument for 1 weekend... it's a tournament.
We all know LSU holds the advantage.. but trying to diminish ULL's offensive numbers just because we play in the Sun Belt and not the SEC is reaching a tad. It's not like the entire Sun Belt's offenses are also in the top 10 in the nation like the Cajuns are.
Good hitting will find holes in the defense eventually. You can't hold these guys down forever, and in a tourny format, anything could happen. That's all I'm saying.

It was a time reference. ULL made it to the softball regional and won (while killing ya girl's arm at the same time) and the cajuns raided this board with little brother glory. They stuck around/came back when the baseball regional was confirmed Monday, and here we are again talking about the ULL "rivalry" bullshite.

It's soft ball. No one out side of the teams and their families really cares. This weekend isn't softball, badminton or quidditch.
I don't understand this ULL/LSU animosity. There is no real competion. It's like saying what's better an Chicago or NY pizza. They are both different entities with very little in common. Enjoy them for what they are. LSU is an 800 lb gorilla and ULL is a macaque.
In sports LSU plays in a different universe. Any reasonable person would never compare hitting sunbelt pitchers to hitting SEC pitchers. Note how LSU preconference offense slowed down in conference play.
I always pull for ULL when they aren't playing LSU. ULL is not a rival. To try to make this a rivalry is truly absurd.
