Why would anyone read them, after they were dumb enough to list Mullen as a better coach than Miles(and only 7th best in the SEC)

If you look at that out of context I agree with you.
However, I understand their logic. LSU is the best program in the state in the midst of fertile recruiting grounds.
LSU will probably always have more tallent than MSU.
The article was saying they think Mullen may be a better coach based on how well he does with less.
At the end of the day it is just an opinion piece.
