I'm not doing that.

Most people in Louisiana don't give a shite about the pelicans which is aggravating

I know. I'm just saying that its bullshite for people to call themselves a Pelicans fan and a Heat fan (then trade out the Heat if Lebron signs somewhere else). But if the person was never a Hornets/Pelicans fan, and has always liked the Heat, then I don't care where they're from

I hated Jordan because he was a sociopath. But it was lonely hating Jordan as I was about the only one. But I do remember when Jordan was "just a scorer" who "didn't care about winning" in his early days. As soon as he started winning titles, his coverage was almost universally positive.

I don't care if they always liked the team when I go to a hornets/pels game and have to deal with them douches I want to go columbine in there. also they are usually the trashiest people you can find for some reason.

The only way the Pelicans can combat that is by winning

Unless all you knew were bandwagoners, opposing fans hated Jordan.

Particularly Knicks, Lakers, and Pistons

meh.... that was long before I discovered message boards. I'm sure there were plenty of people he pissed off but I sure didn't know about it.

I did think the Reggie Miller/Spike Lee feud was funny though.

Were Jordan in his prime in this era of media. . .it would be worse for him than LeBron.

I agree. Jordan would have been shitted on constantly if he played during the years of social media. He would have been a thug POS by the MSB standards. Twitter would have crucified him

Trending topics on Twitter would be:
Bulls
NBA
MJ Punches Teammate
MJ gambling
GOAT

People knew Jordan was a dick who got away with fouling other people and got the benefit of foul calls when he shouldn't have... but there were almost no people dumb enough to argue he wasn't the best player in the game at the time.

FWIW, if there had been a MSB at the time of the Knicks/Bulls series that the Knicks should or might have won or the Suns/Bulls series that the Suns should or might have won there would have been some epic internet crying.

Does anyone else notice how high Wade jumps in that GIF when Lebron scores? Knee looks good to me.

interesting, i just watched that gif a dozen times... the guy that jumped wasn't wade I don't think... I think he was a guy off the bench who wandered onto the court and jumped in the air when Lebron converted. Wade appears to be the guy to the right of the guy who jumped (and Wade appears to be covered)

technically I suppose the Heat could have been penalized for six men on the floor for the last .2 seconds of the game

No Wade definitely jumps. But to judge whether his knee is 100% based on a jump from the sideline is laughable

MJ was much, much more beloved collectively. People are coming around on Lebron for the most part, but it's nowhere near the same.

Agreed. LeBron's play has come around from constantly failing in big moments. I appreciate good basketball. He is forcing me to respect him with his game. He is amazing to watch. But I still don't like the guy and that is fueled by all of the Lebron is GOAT and >MJ nonsense.
