Just finished up Season 4.. I must say.. I was very satisfied with how they did it. I was honestly expecting to be a little underwhelmed.. mainly by the show "trying too hard" or "forcing" old jokes, but I was pleasantly surprised at how they were able to combine the old stuff with the new stuff. I'm very interested to see where they take it from here.

Seriously, good theory I haven't thought of before.

And she's plotting revenge because Lindsay is the only "Sitwell" who's alopecia gene is in "arrested development"

didn't Sitwell say that he tried to adopt Lindsay at some point in the earlier episodes?

I think so. Maybe Stan adopted Sally after he couldn't adopt Lindsay?

And yeah, this season definitely proves that Michael is not the sanest member of the family. I would say George Michael is, but its a moot point since he's fricked up too.

What in particular makes it impossible?

This show has always been the best at recalling things from previous episodes and making it all work. That's the smartest thing about it and why you can watch it over and over and still find stuff you missed. I really think they sort of outdid themselves this time though with the way everything is connected and tied up.

what was the point of all the episode threads if people just gonna discuss episodes in the main thread?

I'm now on episode 7, and you were right, it has gotten better.

Feral Jesus made the entire season.
I only have one ep left but Feral Jesus made me laugh so hard last night I am still sore.

3. Who played young Barry Zuckerkorn? In flashback scenes, we saw a young Lucille and George at their first meeting with overeager, incompetent attorney Barry Zuckerkorn. The kid who played the youthful version of the (terrible) lawyer was so much like Henry Winkler, we had to check on the casting -- and sure enough, the character was played by Winkler's real-life son, Max Winkler. Max is a successful director who recently directed three episodes of "New Girl" and four episodes of "The New Normal."

So is nobody posting in the episode threads?

I just finished and I loved this season
Just saying.
Bout to go through each episode thread
I think ill laugh a ton more on the rewatch because i was so involved with the story that was so crazy and everywhere that the jokes took the backseat. Really excited to go back and watch it
This is another example of just amazing writing, at the very least from a story telling stand point
