Titanic for me as well. Three-plus hours of a good decision...

Gosh I miss being young.

First "real" date was Can't Hardly Wait 1998. Had been to the movies with girls in groups before but this was the first time I picked up my then girlfriend in my car and paid with summer job money and everything

First date with my wife was Hitch in 2005. Can't Hardly Wait was better.

My ex wife and I went to see "Urban Cowboy" on our first date. Her choice. I had to cancel a trip with the fellas to see "The Shining" so we could go out that night.

drove a bunch of people to go watch toy story (my now wife was in the group) then when we started dating I don't really remember the first movie (fall of 1996 that we watched) but we did go see
armaggendon,
blade,
i still know what you did last summer,
waterboy,
lion king II,
pleasantville,
bride of chucky,
a night at the roxbury,
rush hour,
snake eyes,
BASEketball,
can't hardly wait,
and several others in 1998 and on when we started back dating.

misread the OP thought it was first date movie with your GF or Wife.

first date movie I ever went too with just me and my girlfriend was independence day. Prior to that most of the girls I dated we just went out and got something to eat, went back to their place, started watching a rented movie, ended up fornicating, and then I left.

I honestly don't remember. Huh. I know the first movie I saw with the current s/o was Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. What a horrible start.

Dream a Little Dreamstarring the Corys.

It was a kiddie date. I think I was like 11 or 12.
