This article has a lot of amazing insight into the 2003 WSOP and the Moneymaker effect on poker.

Very nice. Moneymaker seems like a nice guy and no surprise Faraha is a douche.

Yeah he seems like a bitter prick besides acknowledging that Chris had class to his father.
I hate poker and never watched an airing of WSOP intentionally, but that was a great article.

+1.
All of the big-time poker players are like Faraha.
Hellmuth is the worst. He doesn't lose to a good player, he loses to a bad player playing a hand he shouldn't be betting.

I thought Farha came off as a bit arrogant, but he is arrogant. He didn't come off nearly as bitter as Dutch Boyd, who did nothing but complain about how bad of a player Moneymaker was.

shite, i remember watching that wsop (as i'm sure you all do).
Ivey's last hand was a made full house vs. a rivered full house for moneymaker. that was truly shocking.

I'm not a poker player, but that was a great read. "He's just a kid from the Internet"

I was going to play in the employees event next week but an unexpected bill popped up and ruined that dream. Next year.
