Pepper had the extremis shot. The ending wasn't clear whether they cleaned it out of her system or not.

If you're referring to my previous post, he's not talking about Pepper. He's talking about the Botanist that Aldrich shot.

And I think it's assumed that she is clean after the ending sequence.

I like Shane Black but the film is a mess and kind of a continuation of Marvel's mediocre run of films i.e., IM 2, Thor, Captain America. Also tired of Robert Downey. His charm has turned into smarm (sorry for the rhyme). No doubt he made Tony Stark but I hope he hangs it up after Avengers 2.

For real she has never looked as good as she did in that movie.

Her stomach alone was making me happy

Jon Favreau needs to step away from the film industry for a while. This guy sucks, actor/director, whatever.

did not write or direct this film I believe. was just one of the producers unlike the previous two.

Stepped away from the thread last night, not trying for a shameless bump.

Did she actually have the fire upgrade procedure performed on herself? I'm pretty sure she was just a normal person who got shot.

Somebody actually read the post

That's how I took it. Me and one of my buddies laughed bc of it like I said but my other buddy did say he didn't think that.

Completely agree. She hit the gym hard for this. She was looking fine.

Yes, and any inclination I had to go see IM3 has been killed by the negative word of mouth.

I understand Marvel is targeting kids, but at some point the writing and plot devices are just too bad.

Good news is that MOS will give the comic book genre adult satisfaction soon.

Guy Ritchie blowinf fire was pretty hilarious too. Im like where did that come from?

Well...Judging by the Dragon Tatoo on his body and how he just beat the Iron Man armor in a straight up fight...I'd say he suppose to be a nod to "Fin Fang Foom" Who is also of Oriental Origin.

I could be wrong.

A late bump.

I finally got around to seeing this tonight, and damn... That was bad.

I know the pretentious folks on this board that demand Oscar quality "or else I shall not be entertained" have mixed opinions on the Marvel series, but I loved the first one and liked the second. I loved the Avengers. As the follow up movie, this was a huge letdown. They made Tony Stark into a non factor. He spent roughly 5 mins of screen time in a 2:40 min movie in the suit, and most of that time was getting his arse kicked. You just defeat an alien army and you can't even get a suit that works to handle five guys?

I'd put this one just ahead of the first Hulk. Wow. I really hope they don't screw the pooch with Thor.

well in all honesty the hulk defeated the alien army with help from everyone else, all iron man really did was kill some guys on speeders (he did take out one of the giant flying worms) and take the nuke back into the wormhole that helped to destroy the rest of the invading alien army.

This right here is a big problem, if not the biggest problem in this movie. It's what you should not do in a comic book movie.

I can't help but think it was arrogance on the writers part that they think they could do this and not catch any shite for it. But alas IM3 is still making bank so far so I'm afraid the precedent might be set on this.

Shane Black wrote and directed this. This is the guy that wrote Lethal Weapon and wrote/directed Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. I just think he missed the point.
