I think NOLA would be a good candidate for NASL expansion. That's the kind of market size they're looking for.

I like that kit. I like it a lot.

I agree with that. But not MLS.

I can't imagine the MLS wanting to go to a city that doesn't support any of the major sports teams it has. Miami won't come watch the Heat until playoffs.

Same thing can be said for Atlanta, though.

OK. So don't go there either. I wasn't saying one was better than the other, but I'd rather have a franchise in a place that will have fans show up.

Agreed. I dont think ATL would do good. Braves are huge in the south and they have a hard time, at times. They've lost their hockey team. MLS and NHL almost rival right now. IMO.

Just like in all the other leagues the south will be the last to get their own team. I feel that Atlanta will likely be the only city in the south to get a team.

I doubt the kits will have pinstripes. Why would you risk turning away all of the Mets fans?

The Braves and the Falcons get middle of the road attendance. (Falcons have risen recently because of the winning.)
The Jets get about the same attendance as the Thrashers did pre-move.
Atlanta's mediocre NASL team gets more in attendance than the established teams in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa Bay and Edmonton (who have talked about going to MLS).
Garber wants teams in the South. If both Florida teams don't get in, Atlanta will be one of them. They are just under Orlando in terms of a serious bid.

Don't the Mets wear pinstripes as well? Or at least used to?
