Saw him on Sportsmans Paradise wearing out the YF out of Venice I believe. I've never heard his name get mentioned on here, but apparently the guy knows how to catch some fish.

He used to get very good reviews years ago on rod-n-reel, no idea now...

I'm not sure of his current status, but a friends friend recently went with him, and I've heard some good things and if available want to give him a shot.

He used to have a fleet of 26' glacier bays when they were the new hot thing. Niw its all about the big freeman cats and yellowfins. He may have just be out competed.

Last I heard, he was all about chasing swordfish in the middle of the gulf.
A few friends and I had kicked around the idea (didn't have a boat to do it ourselves at the time) and after talking around, his name kept coming up.

We were set to go with him on my first blue water trip. Two days before he calls and shucks us to one of his staff captains. Says he has to go to his daughter's school plays. Just my opinion.

If you can be sure peace will be your cpt, go, if not go with Mexican gulf outfitters, it is his old 2 best guides that went together to start a new company. Last I heard peace was not guiding any more, but that may of changed

The trip was ok. We caught one tuna then some amberjack on the way in. The captain was good, friendly and tried his best. I think he starred his own charter service now, although I am not sure of the name.

From what I've heard, that guy was run out of Venice or left Venice on very shaky grounds.
