Well the year is about to start for me. Heading to the camp this weekend to get it ready and hopefully catch some fish.

Next week I am bringing a client down and was gonna do at least one chartered trip. I typically fish spec only, but are open to whatever. Do you guys have any charter recommendations?

We've previosuly used Coco Marina and our guide was great, think his name was Gene. However they aren't cheap by any measure.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Good luck

What you looking for? Inshore/ offshore/ fly fishing? A captain that talks or the silent type that gives you peace and quiet? The ob will deliver.

Inshore.

Out of cocodrie. That's where our camp is.

Indifferent about the captains style.

Find one of the Seeber boys they used to own Point Cocodrie marina with their dad. When he passed they went to work for other marinas. They know Cocodrie That's who you want. Anyone know ho they are with now?

I chartered 5 captains this weekend for 30+ people. We charted basically all of the Coco Marina guys, and Lil' Coon. We caught just short of 500 trout.

There are a ton of good guides down there, and most of them are catching fish right now.
