The Military Bowl reached an agreement with Conference USA for the 2013 game, the first of its kind played at Navy-Marine Coprs Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.

When the ACC released their bowl schedule earlier this month, the 2013 Military Bowl was set to feature an ACC opponent against an at-large selection. But late last week, Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced the addition of the Northrop Grumann sponsored bowl game to the league's postseason lineup.

Moving from Washington D.C. to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium "puts our game into a facility that honors the men and women who have served in our armed forces," according to DC Bowl Committee Executive Director Steve Beck.

Seems like a really cool place for a bowl, maybe not in December though

Annapolis is a cool little town, and the tie in with the city makes sense b/c of the Naval Academy. It can be pretty chilly in December though. IMO it would be better as a kick-off location.

NMCM Stadium is a pretty awesome little place. I approve of this move.

it will certainly look better trying to fill a 34k stadium than a 56k stadium that has been reduced to 45k.
