Heading to see some family for memorial day weekend. Was going to pull the boat down and hit Lake Verret a couple days. How's the bass fishing been out there lately?

Had a buddy down there all weekend. Said it was non existent.

3 weekends ago we went for a Friday fish and caught 38 bream and 9 bass

We caught catfish on belle river. Water was way up on verret

A buddy of mine has camp down there near grassy lake. He said the water has been way high and muddy.

Don't think anybody is catching bass right now... Bream and catfish are turning on though

The catfish and bream were running good a couple weeks ago. None of us fished for bass.
