I can't wait to see this guy on the field! What position is he most likely to play once he gets here?

I personally think he's a better fit at LB from what I've seen of him live in HS. His step is quicker laterally than upfield. Doubt he'll be a slouch at whatever position they choose for him though.

just depends on if they want to bulk him up or not
I can see him playing either one honestly. If i had to guess Id say DE just because we are a little low on DE guys but this class had some so maybe LB

I expect him to be a special teams demon and get some early pt at OLB.
That said, he ends his LSU career at DE and it's an easy decision.
He has the frame to put on the weight.
His speed and quickness are excellent. He fits the Chief's scheme.
It'll be fun to watch him develop.
I envision him being very similar to Mingo.

Given his size in high school (6'3" 225lbs), and our tendency to put speed on the field, I say DE. Chavis turn's safety's in LB's, LB's into DE's. This and our lack of depth at DE means he will probably be a DE.
