I'd put him up there with George Karl, Erik Spolestra, and Doc Rivers...with Phil Jackson being in a class of his own. Pop has the advantage of the front office always signing guys who are great fundamental ball players with longevity.

This. What Spo has been able to do with the superstars he's had is Phil Jacksonesque. Spo has so much potential and could very well obtain Phil status with time.

Coach of the year says otherwise. He is very well up there with the rest of those coaches. He fields a competing team year in and year out.

And look at all those first round exits. I'm not saying he isn't a good coach, but he is below a lot of guys because of his playoff history.
