But they were up almost 30 man, they could've shot 25% from 3 and still won

Memphis ain't a championship team, they don't know how to beat the spurs yet.

It's only game 1. Lot can happen from here. Memphis is right where they should be. Just another part of the process with this young team. Let wait and see their response in game 2 before calling them dead

Where is slippery slope running his mouth about how this grizzle team was unstoppable and would throttle the heat. shite. These pretenders wont even beat the old tired spurs.

quote:
the best three point shooters in history don't hit 50% of their threes.
Kawhi was 4/5 from three
Green was 3/5
Bonner was 4/6
Patty Mills 1/1
It won't happen again.
We obviously need to ratchet up the Perimeter D, though
Almost every single one of these threes was taken when the shooter was WIDE OPEN. Does anyone think Bonner and Green would be shooting over .400 if they had to create their shots?Green was almost out of the league before he came to the spurs.
The Spurs are so dangerous because Parker and Ginobili are so good at getting to the basket, which draws the help defense and leaves the perimeter vulnerable. Their ball movement is exceptional. And thats without saying anything about Duncan. The Grizzlies HAVE to protect the perimeter.

Dunno but I said Spurs in 5 from the get go.
OKC sucked in that series so bad on offense, and were right there in every single game.

Isn't there a team in the East that also has players that are great at getting to the basket with better 3 point shooters?
"But after Memphis handles the old tired Spurs they will beat the Heat in 6 games."
