Just me and the Claret Jug (golf board)

So I was at III Forks in Dallas last night, and since the Byron Nelson is this weekend a lot of golfers are in town. Well I guess Ernie Els was also at III Forks (although he had a private room so I didn't get to see him). Anyway, since he currently has the actual Claret Jug, I guess he was letting his friends carry around the replica that all the Open Championship winners receive, and they let me take a picture holding it. It was really cool to see Tom Morris etched in there from so long ago...
Again, this isn't the real trophy, it's much, much bigger than this one. But it is a real replica that only the Open Championship winners receive, I thought it was really cool to get to hold one and read the names

I was interning at the ABC affiliate in Houston back around 03 when the tour championship was in town. We did a nightly wrapup show and one of the ladies that worked the tournament asked if we wanted to use the trophy in the background, we of course said yes.
So they send me to go pick up the trophy, and here I am some idiot college student walking down the concrete cart path with one half the crystal trophy in one hand and the other pinned under my other arm. I've never been so nervous and so positive I was going to drop something.
