Andrew Sharp at Grantland had this article the other day. Everyone keeps saying this is a bad draft, but I'm not so sure. There's always talent coming in, sometimes it isn't self evident. Thats what separates good teams from bad ones.

I have faith in the Benson organization and the staff they have put together (inb4FIREMONTY). Would really like to see them pick up another, later pick because I think they can get something of value from it.
Woj also had a good article on the development of Lance Stephenson

The NBA lottery is next week, and there's a reason we see the same teams there every year. The NBA has a reputation as a "players' league," while a sport like the NFL is supposedly dominated by management, but if you look at the most successful teams in the NBA, it's about more than just players. Look at the playoffs. For all the talk about major markets in the NBA, we're probably looking at a conference finals featuring teams from Indianapolis, San Antonio, and Memphis. The small markets can compete because even if they're not spending Knicks or Lakers or Nets money, the combination of good coaching and smart management gives them serious advantages over the rest of the league.

I think Caldwell-Pope is gonna develop into a solid player. I know he is projected late lottery/ mid 1st.
He seemed like he had the right "makeup" the couple times I watched him play.
Like Leonard, it would be nice if he winds up in the perfect spot like the Spur or a team like that. That's sooo important for young players to find a system and coach that fits them. The Spurs have the fast track on player development. I mean even Boris fricking Diaw looks like a decent player now.

My favorite player in this draft is Jamaal Franklin. We are probably picking too early to take him, but I'd love for him to be on the team. He is the same type of player that does everything well..

Tim Hardaway JR Will have a big time upside. May be a project player but I really think he can be a star player one day...

Leonard is a beast. Just another example of why the Spurs have a fricking fantastic front office.

Benson is about to be 86. What happens when he croaks?

His money lives on. It's not like he's even calling shots while he's alive.

This. Keep Loomis and Lauscha in the fold and I dont see much, if any, change.
