I just downloaded it and is pretty great so far. I'm so glad I got to see them at jazz fest last year. Anyone seen this doc?

They got their name from taking paoti (drugs) at Joshua tree. They all got as high as they could and slept over. This is amazing how drugs formed so much of our past.

Saw the documentary, didn't see them at Jazzfest.

Did see them live 1979-ish.

Joe Walsh just said Jon Belushi met him at this hotel in Chicago and wanted to take him to this nice restaurant. They showed up and couldn't get in wearing blue jeans so he went down the alley and grabbed a spray can and sprayed their pants to look black then walked in 30 minutes later and they let them in

Then later that night they did 28,000 dollars worth of room damage.

It was the 70's it was cool back in the day

Especially with Jon since he was the funniest guy ever

They just wrote one of the greatest songs of all time just now. Hotel California

The ending to Hotel California was the highest point in my recording career. To have a 7 minute single to be number one is epic.

The recording company tried to make them edit it. Another reason why recording companies suck. They told them to take it or leave.

Loved the documentary.
Henley was a bit affected in all that 70's footage.
Like he was aware he was Don Henley and he had to be Don Henley realizing he had to be Don Henley being clever being Don Henley.
