If the Magpies win he will split the funds among the staff such a groundskeepers, office staff, ball boys etc.

that's cool, Arsenal fighting for 4th means that as a potential UEFA Champions League side, they will be fighting for a guaranteed a minimum of €7.2 million plus the prestige of playing in Europe's highest club competition.

It's an extra incentive, it's pay on top of their base salary. I know that's a complex idea to grasp, but I think you're smart enough to figure it out.
