The warmer the weather, the worse eades gets, i hope they dont throw him for the sec tourney, save him for championship sunday, if he struggles there and we get to the super, start glenn game 2

you usually in the tournament do the typical ace then #2 then #3.
Regionals will probably be Glenn then Nola then Eades (so eades will face a decent teams #3
Supers will probably be Nola Glenn Eades, or could be Glenn Nola Eades.
But Eades will probably face #3 starter in post season so you have one of the best offenses in the SEC with a guy who will usually hold a team under 5 (hopefully around 3) that is good enough against most #3 starters with our bats.

Eades seems like he has lost both velocity and movement on his fast ball. That means he probably has a tired arm. His breaking balls have been his best pitch.

If Nola were to lose in the first game of the supers do you still think CPM goes with Glenn? I guess that's the real question - has Glenn earned CPM's trust enough to get the call with the season on the line?

I would say so. IMO, if you throw Eades your expecting to give up a few early runs and hoping he can get control in the 2-4th inning.
At this point I trust Glenn much more. He's proven he can step up.

Yes. Eades velocity was terrible today. Typical late season fatigue for him. I saw maybe 1-2 of his balls hit 90 and the rest of his fastballs were about 83-85. That's not going to cut it.

He has great stuff but I can't understand why he's considered a top few round pick. He never pitches a clean game and as the year progresses he consistently wears out. that is not the makeup of a bona fide major leaguer.
