As someone that did watch one episode, I was turned off by the awkwardness of it all. All of the humor was generated by awkward situations. I guess that I don't find that brand of humor particularly funny. Plus when was Steve Carell ever funny in anything? I'd probably like the Ricky Gervais version lots more.

up to season 4 was good shite, i gave up on it after season 6 and stopped watching it
