Driving to Austin early next Friday morning for bachelor party. First time driving this far west in quite some time. Any places worth stopping for breakfast or lunch?

I disagree. Goode Co BBQ is pretty damn good.
Eta There is a pretty good BBQ in Ellinger right off of 71 too, cant remember the name though.

The crawfish etoufe pistolette at Steamboat Bills in Lake Charles right before the Bridge westbound is great traveling snack.
