Whoa. If I was a big NFL fan, I'd be all over that.

That's Big time. Will save me hundreds since I buy Sunday ticket anyway.

Wow, thats an incredible deal. Too bad I'm getting it for free already this year. That would be so awesome if they did this yearly now. Bc they've never put out special editions like that before.

Only for computers and mobile devices?
That part kind of sucks but I hook my laptop up to TV anyways so no biggie but still lame for others.

Damn. I don't even have a system right now and I'll buy the damn thing just for that.

The Anniversary Edition will offer an exclusive Madden Ultimate Team pack for all 17 weeks of the regular season and will also allow fans who aren’t DirecTV subscribers to get $10 off their first month of service and a full year of NFL Sunday Ticket MAX for free. Those who already subscribe will receive access to NFL Sunday Ticket on computers and mobile devices. According to EA, the full package offers “over $400 in value.”
Crap, does that mean you have to have direct tv already? I can't get it at my house because of tree cover.

So what is the total cost?

Yeah that's how I read it also. Was all into it if I could stream it to my tablet without directv.

didn't originally read the article but it all makes sense.
DirecTV must've paid EA a bunch of money

I'm curious if you could AirPlay the games on apple tv

My buddy has direct TV, and he has an xbox. I wonder if we can go into together on it and be able to get access to my laptop. I wonder how it works though. Would they require the same ip address?

These exclusive contracts are so asinine. People are practically begging to let them throw their money at you, but instead you chase them off into stream sites.

I'm still wondering about how this will work. Has anyone have any new info?
Posted on 5/28/13 at 10:15 am to Patrick O Rly
This link seems to have more info. You don't need Directv to get Sunday Ticket on computers or mobile devices. Doesn't look like it says what happens if you're a Directv subscriber without Sunday Ticket. To me it seems like new subscribers can get Sunday Ticket on their TV and everyone else gets the mobile version. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

For fans unable to receive DirecTV service, each Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition will include a unique code to access the 2013 regular season (17 weeks) trial of NFL Sunday Ticket on computers, tablets, and mobile devices- including access to the award-winning Red Zone Channel.
Yep, I'm getting it.
