Why is Alex Box & other collegiate parks bigger than MLB parks down the line?

I think the wall in left at Fenway may be higher than the wall at the box.

I was just wondering why they made the college parks bigger down the line. Oh btw I never knew Fenway had a Green Monster, godspeed hombre.

They just fit them to the real estate available.

There are a ton of things that go into it. The length down the line is pretty far down the list. HOK in Kansas City did most of those parks.
