How many times have you done this to later realize the movie was horrid?

How many times have you done this and realized the movie was pretty good?

I've done it plenty of times and most of the movies were bad but other time the movies were pretty damn good.

I saw Terminator Salvation, but expected it to be bad. I didn't think Wolverine was awful.

I never ever read reviews. What's the point? I watch the trailer and if it looks good, I'll go see the movie, or if it is a favorite actor or director, I'll go see it.

Weekend of release: Indy 4....

OnDemand: Battleship. Had to see how horrible it was myself.

I never read reviews until I've seen the movie.

I avoid theaters as much as possible, unless it's a movie I've been anticipating. Tickets are ridiculously expensive and people can never put their fricking Iphones away.

I saw That's My Boy despite shite reviews and thought it was Sandler's best film since his 90's days.

I don't have the time to go the movies like I used to when I was young so I usually only o when it's a movie I've been looking forward to AND received good reviews.

I didn't get the hate for this movie either. Thought it was really funny and was entertaining throughout

Critics shouldn't give brownie points for making less shitty movies.

I don't see but like 2 or 3 movies in theatres a year, but if I think I'll like it, I'll see it.

My friends rely a lot on what critics think and ratings. Not saying that's a bad thing, but that's like the sole thing that they go on.

It depends upon the movie and the critic. I never rely on them exclusively, nor do I always read a review before a particular movie. There are some critics who I've come to understand and appreciate though, and I tend to trust them for most movies. But if there's a piece of shite movie that I think I'll enjoy regardless, I'll go.
