I hope the OP has papers on that boat.

Laminated ones at that!

When I was rigging mine out, the most difficult part was trying to get my registration sticker to adhere to the PPE hull.

After much research I learned 3M makes little pads that you wipe the surface with then apply the stickers and they will stay.

Wipe it down with alcohol, let it air dry, add a light spray of spray on adhesive, add stickers...done.

That's the first method I tried. Although that probably works fine for a glossy smooth PPE hull. The NuCanoe hull is shark skinned (as in bumpy).

The decal just wouldn't adhere. Especially in some of the creeks I like to go in, because of the constant scraping of limbs and branches. The decal would peel.

Instructions from 3M using their pads required first a blast from a heat gun for 10 - 15 seconds to the hull, then wipe with pad and apply decal.

After that I never had another problem with it peeling. Even after going through places I had to hack my way through with my machete.

i have slain the bass in Bayou des Glaises in one of those. Slow, but allows you to really work an area over.

I have been wanting to tie two pirogues together with a 4x8 deck and put a small go devil.

That's the thing, you are there and there ain't no quick way to change that. So, you might as well get to work and fish every square foot and make the best of it.

I've never fished out of those dual pontoon jobbers, but a Yak is the same but more stealthy.

I have done the same in a small bateau with a trolling motor. They were loaded up behind the old rr bridge pilings. We caught 21 in a couple hours on crankbaits, almost all over 2 pounds. We always fish it between the morning and afternoon hunts the opening weekend of squirrel season. Good times. SO many goggle-eye in there. I have never fished a place with so many of those worm stealing bastards.

What's STUPID?

If you put any type motor on a vessel in Fl. it has to be registered. Maybe not the case in LA. so therefore I guess it would be stupid.

at any rate FU!

Nothing worth hoisting. 1 bass, 2 perch, and a catfish. Jug lines are still out.

Ryan here's your state law on what must be registered. If that is what you were referring to as stupid.

Registering Your Vessel

You must have a Louisiana Certificate of Number (registration) and validation decals to operate a motorboat or sailboat legally on public waters. A motorboat is defined as any vessel equipped with or propelled by any type of machinery whether or not such machinery is the principal source of propulsion. The only exceptions are:

A sailboat 12 feet or less in length
A sailboard
Motorboats/Sailboats documented with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), unless it is a recreational use vessel
Motorboats/Sailboats with valid registration in another state or country, on the waters of Louisiana for 90 or fewer consecutive days

I know what the law is. I'm a rebel.

I'm using this thing in a neighborhood pond and may take it out every blue moon for crabbing or something. I've seen and been in many flat back canoes with no numbers and Green Jeans has never said a thing.
