I decided to take some pics!
Chinese made Type 56 SKS
Stag Model 4 20" barrel
Springfield XD 9mm
USMC KA-bar
The knife I threw in there because it was in one of my rifle bags

Just a quick question, and not taking a stab at anybody, but when the hell did people transition from calling them "guns" to calling them "weapons?"

Probably when The anti-gun thing started in December after sandy hook

Wasn't sure if this was something new or I had just started noticing it.
Carry on.

They don't call them guns in the military. Mighta stemmed from that

Honestly I would hate for some anti 2nd amendment person to google search for something like this using the term gun and then use the pics for some other purpose other than sharing with fellow enthusiasts
And in the Air Force we are always referring to them as our weapons

People have always called them weapons. I don't care kinds like the clip vz magazine thing. It's not a weapon until its causes harm to someone. Same thing goes for a baseball bat or screw drive.
To the op sweet weapons or guns or firearms or things that go boom!

I wasn't trying to jack your thread. Just was curious.

To keep with the thread though,

I feel assaulted just looking at those dangerous weapons.

Are you gonna chop off your hand and attach the chainsaw Bruce Campbell style?

Mrs. House has a little black assault dress.
It's a weapon.
Very effective.
ETA: I contributed nothing to the thread.
Nice weapons.

that's the cleanest chainsaw I've ever seen

I'm pretty sure that is a new saw. Or at least a new bar.
Posted on 5/16/13 at 6:23 pm to aVatiger
That's because I had never even cranked it yet.
I do clean it after I use it, but it don't look like that no more
